No one was hurt when a passenger bus belonging to Shaw's Bus Service caught fire on the George Price Highway on Monday afternoon. The bus, which was heading to Belie City was completely destroyed. The incident happened just before three o'clock yesterday afternoon between miles seventeen and eighteen in Hattieville village. Love FM's Armin Arana arrived on the scene shortly after the bus erupted in flames, and he spoke with the driver of the doomed bus Nicholas Flores about what happened.
The driver's account of what transpired has been corroborated by passengers, two of whom spoke with Armin Arana about the scary incident when the bus they were riding on caught fire this afternoon.
All the passengers were safely evacuated from the burning bus through the back door. An investigation to determine what caused the fire is now underway.
