Thinking of dental work over here need prices for work here or chetumal .ie tooth missing thankyou

I love my dentist and they are fairly priced.

I have been going to Osbert Usher in the City for 10 yrs now, so do alot of my friends. Just went today. He charges $25 us for extractions, $450 for root canal and crowns. He does dental implants and is a certified instructor to other Dentist in the field. I am thinking they are around $300. Bridges are less..he is painless and very good. Under the gum cleaning also called scaling is about $150. In the States Dentist wont even do that, you need a Dental Hygienist and it cost 5 times that. I have to have it done about every 5 yrs and in the US its about $1,200.

Thanks for the info Debbie, I'm assuming "the City" is Belize City. My Husband and I are now living here full time and will be looking for a good one here. Does he use gas to relax you through your procedures?

We use the Minnesota dentist, Dr. Mark. He has a beautiful dental office at his home about 4 miles north of San Pedro. He charges one half what he used to charge in the US. His work is excellent. His wife is the hygienist and probably the best I've ever used. He does free work at one of the schools.

Not in Chetumal but I recently had a dental implant ( at first stage at the moment) by Doctor Pedro Habet in Belize City (the Dental Centre, Mercy Lane). First class work as far as I am concerned ( and am aware).
There is more work to be done to complete the treatment plan ( it appears that the dentist I had used in England for many years was not that good) and I am approaching it with confidence in Doctor Habet.
The price of the implant was around 75% of what I paid for one in England.
