Does anybody know how I can get in touch with him? I've tried the phone numbers listed on his website and still have not been able to reach him to make reservations for this weekend. I've also emailed and have received no response. If anyone knows how to get in touch with him will you please let me know. Thanks.

Becky, why don't you have Banana Beach make the reservation for you? They arranged my trip with Alphonso for me.

Gela, you are the sharpest pencil in the pencil case. Smart, I'll email them now. Have a great day and get ready for my trip report next week.

Hey Becky, if you think of it, tell Alphonso that the woman who bumped her head on the boat says hello - I'm sure he'll remember me and have a good chuckle (see I'm not always the sharpest pencil in the box ;-))

I'm afraid to ask Gela, but how the hell did you bump your head on the boat. Too many panty rippers?

Becky, you won't see this until you get back but I was snorkeling and saw the boat anchor and thought I swam far enough around to avoid the boat. I swam smack dab into the hull of the boat. I had a big bump for a week and a good laugh with Alphonso once I caught my breath and stopped seeing stars! :-)

I think his cell phone # is 014-5450. That is how I usually got to him.
He is a great guy --we went out with him twice, once to Mexico Rocks and once to Hol Chan/Shark& Ray Alley. He showed us so much stuff we would surely have missed without him there!

Just wanted to put a post up in praise of Alfonso. What a great guy. I've snorkled in the Caymans and in Jamaica. Never has an instructor taught me so much about fish and plantlife. Was able to book him directly through Banana Beach (thanks Gela for the advice) and he was a great guide. BOY OH BOY, what happened since last May? The sharks this year were about 6-8 feet long. Geeze. Anyway, had a blast and will post a trip report soon.
