I'm curious. What kind of monthly premium are we talking about for an expat insurance policy in Belize?

Yes. According to what i read and was told it applies.

BUPA payments either annual or semi-annual, not monthly.
Costs vary greatly depending on coverage, age and deductible.
Check with the carrier - they will supply you will a cost chart.
