I stayed at Ramon's from March 1st thru the 4th of this year and I liked it. I had a gardenview room and it was nice. It was only a short walk to the beach. You could hear the beach from our room. The people were great there. The pier is wonderful and the dive shop is great. If you do get a gardenview room request room #34 it's huge and has a couch and chair in their too. The beach is beautiful there. I'm sure you'll like it give it a try.

We stayed at Ramon's for 7 days in March 2001. We loved it. It was close to town so you didn't need a golf cart everyday. It was close to great bars and restaurants. Their bar was great and so was their restaurant. I loved our room/hut. AC was nice and cool and fresh flowers in room everyday. We did a package deal with airfare and room and it was $1162 per person. I'd go back in a heartbeat and stay there. I LOVED AMBERGRIS !!!

I stayed at ramons village and would not recommend it to anyone. What you get for the price is not worth it. There are alot nicer places to stay for less money. Unless you want to live like Gilligan this is not the place to stay.

I like Ramon's...the atmosphere is one of the best on the Island..authentic style thatch roof cabanas, a breathtaking pool surrounded in palm trees, the nicest beach and not to mention the friendly and accomodating staff. It is very relaxing there. Maybe the rooms are a little small but how much time do you really spend in your room? I thought it was great.
