I'm thinking the local government could help with this. Now I know you're already laughing Elbert, but hear me out. No power, no water, no sewer, rough terrain...those are the main issues why people don't buy on the west side. Every lot that sells, the government gets their cut in stamp tax. If these issues started to get crossed off the list one by one, lots would start to sell better and in turn, go up in price. More stamp tax money. More businesses would open as well. Bam. Tax money. Am I missing something. They paid big bucks for that North road to keep people coming to AC. Same idea. I honestly think it's in their best interest and they would make out well on this.

Again I state that it's about the money. Why should South Islanders pay for this? Will someone form a group of interested land owners to drive this forward.

Yes, I'm almost always laughing.
Local government is dirty in this West side development. Lots of issues that would come to light. My take is they will do nothing until the trail to their misdeeds is cold. Stamp Duty goes to National Government and means very little to local government.

Are you referring to the town councilor who got a large track of land for a pittance, subdivided it into ridiculously small lots and sold them off at a GTREAT profit?
