who and where can I get some good fry jacks

Pretty much every block in town has at least one, if not more, delis that sells fry jacks.

We get ours on the East end of the airport. Always great, cheap, all different flavors. I just have never even read the name.

It is amazing what you can learn from this message board. I had no idea fry jacks came in different flavors.

And I think Cafe du Monde is in New Orleans ... Where they call them beignets ?

The fry jacks at Estelle's are excellent. Nerries Tacos has them both stuffed and plain. Perhaps those qualify as different flavors.

mmmmmmmmm. Fry jacks -- put some Marie Sharp's on those puppies with some hashbrowns and sipping a cup o' coffee while overlooking the reef and I'm in heaven.

Cafe du Monde is indeed in NOLA. The OPer asked where to get them...didnt say in Belize. Beignets or fritters can be found around the world .

Beignets are as different from fry jacks as donuts from bagels. Both are fried in oil but are different recipes and ingredients.

I love a world where it's important to debate pastry!
