The EC Board would like to invite you to our first South Neighborhood Clean Up for 2018 SATURDAY 17 Feb, 2018..

Please come out and join the South AC Neighborhood Watch and on Saturday, Feb 17th to help clean our community in the south.

We will start the day by meeting at the Sub- Station at 7:00am for groups and areas to be assigned. Kids are also welcome to join the beach cleanup! The cleanup should take no more than 2 hours as long as enough people participate.

Garbage bags will be provided. Please bring your own work gloves, sturdy shoes, bug spray, sunscreen, tools (shovel, machete, etc) and drinking water.

We would also like to take this opportunity to ask the public to help us keep our neighborhood clean! Please use the trash receptacles provided.

Dumping any kind of trash on the side of the road or using trash as fill on your property or someone else's is illegal and can result in penalties of up to $500 for each offense.

THANK YOU!

We would also wish you a Happy Valentines Day as well as the start of Lent and Ash Wednesday this week.
In order to celebrate and honor these two events, we are MOVING OUR REGULAR MEETING to the following week.

SACNW hosts a neighborhood clean-up

On Saturday morning, February 24th bright and early, members and friends of SACNW (South Ambergris Caye Neighborhood Watch) were out in full force for a clean-up of the south end of the island. From Victoria House to Marco Gonzalez Maya Site entrance, more than 30 adults and children filled a dump truck with garbage bags and miscellaneous items discarded along the road and beach. From a discarded toilet to a bug zapper, truck tire and more, there was plenty to think about when wondering why people want to dirty up our beautiful Isla Bonita.

SACNW is a volunteer membership neighborhood watch for the south end of the island, operating strictly on member contributions. Working along with the San Pedro Police Department, SACNW Mission Statement is: To deter crime, promote community spirit and create an environment that encourages awareness and continual improvement within our area. General Meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of a month at 7pm at Lone Star Grill, Mosquito Coast. Please join us.
