Ironically, the flight was probably cancelled due to the tornado under the torrential rain presently in Miami that was an offshoot of the tropical moisture from Keith.
It is just underneath tropical depression status about 50 miles south of us and raining here while I write.
There's real energy in the Caribbean right now.
Let's all plan a vacation to Belize this winter to help out the economy.

Sounds like a good idea to me. I'm in Miami now and I can't see the house next to me.

we are getting the relief situation together tonite. Thank you very much. We're just shifting from chaos to relief work, and we need a little organization first.... There is a meeting in New Orleans tonite where the details are getting worked out. We want to try to do something independant of the major relief groups, to keep the overhead to a sliver.

Thank you very much,
Marty

Dear Marty,
I have replied to the "wishlist" topic already, and again would like to send as much as possible down to AC , but again don't know the best way to get the supplies there--We're in Chicago. Please, at your convenience, if you could let me know after the meeting if anyone in the States is willing to take some extra stuff down, we will be happy to send it to them immediately. If you think mail to AC will get there quickly, we can do it that way. Whatever will work best.
Thanks so much.
Sincerely,
Eva and Wayne

Eva, I am in Chicago too. We are trying to form an organization to help. Spoke to the honorary consul of Belize, Edwin Smiling and some other people who are anxious to help. We would love to hear from you.
