For the past few days, we've been showing you a few of the families all across the City and other parts of the Belize District who were devastated by Hurricane Lisa. But the list of disaster victims is long, and tonight, we introduce you to several of the storm-battered residents of the Hattieville area.

Today, our newsroom was invited out to that community to talk to residents who say that they have been waiting for relief from government and NEMO, but nothing has arrived.

Daniel Ortiz traveled to Hattieville; here's his story:

A few of the residents did note that one or two families within this neighborhood did receive food packages, but that this is the extent of their aid for several days now. Other residents say that they have seen officials doing very brief surveys of the damage in their community.
