General Situation:
Ambergris Caye: Conditions this morning by Elbert just after this post!
Belize NMS: Present Condition: Mostly clear, a few light clouds on the mainland and in San Pedro. Slightly moist and unstable conditions prevail.
Advisories: None.
24-hour forecast: Sunny with cloudy spells today and cloudy at times tonight. A few showers will affect southern districts, with isolated showers elsewhere.
Winds: E-NE, 5-15 kts

Outlook: (Sun & Sun night) Cloudy at times with a few showers mainly over central and southern portions of the country.
Sargassum Forecast from February 14 to February 22: There is a medium to high chance that new sargassum mats could affect coastal communities across the country during the next few days. San Pedro has a high probability and a moderate expected impact.

Marine Conditions:

The Caribbean Sea

A 1026 mb high pressure center E of Bermuda and its associated subtropical ridge extends to the northern half of the Caribbean, thus supporting the continuation of fresh to near gale force trade winds across most of the basin, except for moderate to fresh winds in the SE and NW Caribbean. Seas are 7 to 10 ft in the E, SW and central Caribbean, except 11 to 14 ft offshore Colombia. Seas of 3 to 6 ft are elsewhere.

For the forecast, a strong Bermuda high will sustain fresh to strong easterly trades across most of the basin through Wed, including the Windward Passage. Winds will pulse nightly to gale force off the coast of Colombia through Mon night, however strong to near gale force winds will continue through the remainder forecast period. High seas in mixed N and NE swell across the tropical Atlantic waters will subside Mon night. Strong trade winds prevailing east of the Leeward Islands will diminish to fresh speeds Sun night.

OP Marty	The cool air bubble is now sliding past us and the easterly Caribbean winds getting back in control, but there is some warm air coming up from the south, causing significant clouds in the Caribbean, there have been a few small patches of rain about, but drying up now. Looks as if today will be mainly sunny, but with significant white clouds, probably no rain. Last Night Temperature 21 °C 70 °F Yesterday max.
