Wow if this isn't a blast from the past. Looks like the forum is a lot quieter than it used to be. Ambergris Caye was the first place I traveled to that I really fell in love with. I loved the quiet streets at that time, the fact that it was still a bit under the radar, and most of all, I love how it made me feel when I was there. I was obsessed with Belize for years, and spent almost all of my vacations there for a long time. Then I traveled more, the world opened up, and I found other places. A cousin of mine just got back from Belize, though staying in Placencia, and it put Belize back on my mind again. I'd like to go back to Ambergris Caye just to see all of the change, but I'd probably want to spend a lot more time on the mainland now. Hope everyone on the island is doing well.

Tap...Tap...Tap...Is this thing still on? Somehow by the grace of Chac I was able to remember the old AOL email that I started this silly account with and my 012345 password still works.

Yep, we are still around. just moving a little slower, maybe not having two scoops of ice cream from the ice cream parlor on Front Street but we are here.

I spent some time with some Changes In Latitudes "Repeat Offenders" (that is what Shuffles used to call regulars) and RDD over the Labor Day Weekend. Fun Times!

Update For Those Who Care - Mrs. Trumpet (Mary Louise Geranium) and I are back on the Isla de Manhattan in the Murray Hill Area.

So What Is Every One Else Up To? Sound Off..

And check out my new signature line....Hey KLCMan, did I do it right?

I am still here.... I think modern times have hit the message board hard- but I am sure with some concerted effort we can revive in the near future!

As you know, this MB enabled us to recently refresh semi-forgotten events, thanks to the robust Search.

(I heard a rumor that AS was planning a MB reunion on AC and getting us el cheapo ( re: free) digs at BOTB!!

How did I fall into that one- LOL. wouldn't that be nice? Bananas on the Beach is totally revamped and definitely worth a visit. The old San Pedro we know and love has morphed, grown, expanded and developed- some good changes and some sad changes along the way.

I LOVE this website because it is a blast from the past- it holds memories that are near and dear to our hearts. Why don't you guys dig through your archives and add some photos and write some fun stories- we are losing our members one by one due to the winds of change and natural causes.... let's keep the past stories alive by posting.
