Hey D6Pack
My husband and i just got back from AC about a month ago, we stayed at Ramon's (our first time also), we had a blast! Ramon's is beautiful, when you arrive they will be there to pick you up in a pink golf cart, it is a very short ride to Ramon's, it is like entering fantasy island, minus tatoo (you will agree when you get there). The staff is great, and the people of San Pedro are wonderful, already palnning our next trip!! Have a great time!

I just got back 1 week ago and stayed at Ramon's it was GREAT! You will love it. The staff is great and it is close to everything. You may just want to find something to do on Cruise Ship days as you won't get near the beach or docks. We are planning our next trip back as well. Have fun!

Hey T IN BELIZE, Marty, and CSully,
Thanks so much for the info. We cannot wait to get there. The toughest part now is waiting until May. If you have any picks as far as can't miss places to eat or drink they would be greatly appreciated. laugh

Places to eat and drink? Drinks - definitely BC's, just a walk up from Ramons past the library. Eating - definitely The Blue Water Grill, also up from Ramons. DEEEEEELICIOUS. Also try Calientes for dinner and the infamous Chicken Drop.

here's a food thread, and i might mention the food at Ramons is very good too, the lunches are extremely reasonably priced.

Hey D6pack, we will be first timers to AC in May, also! Any chance you are going for the Jim Morris fest (UnBelizable)? We'll be at Ramons too, maybe we'll see you there.... this board has been GREAT for info, and for making me want to pack my bags and GO already!

Hey Whiskydrinkinmadam,
This is the first I've heard about Jim Morris Fest. What's the deal? We will be in AC the first week of May, how about you? Have you heard any other good tips that you could share with fellow first-timers. I agree, this site has been amazing! :p
