Just returned from 1 week at Ramon's.No t.v. in room,but had a clock radio.One word of caution- take a battery backup alarm if you need to get up for trips-the country lost power a couple times, mostly for a few minutes,but Tues. nite it went out at 2:00 a.m. and wasn't back on until after we left.Most places cook w/gas,so food was not a problem.Take a flashlight to open windows in the dark,as no air or fan made sleeping HOT!Still had water for bathroom,though.Gotta try Celi's Deli for meat pies and fish empanadas, and the tamale guy on the bicycle.Loved Ramon's rooms,location, and conveniences.Restaurant was so-so and pricey.Much better food elsewhere.Pick up a coupon for Moncada,for free rum drinks and appetizer,new restaurant South of Ramon's. Have fun!
