We'll be "deplaning" on 5/31 for 7 days at the Sunbreeze. It's our 4th trip. Just bought an underwater camera, e-mailed Roberto and Karen and asked them to gas up the dive boat and have it ready at the dock. Nine days and counting.......

I am at Rubies during that time. Since I am solo from 6/2-8, I was looking for for some diving friends. I am an avid diver looking to get in some great, remote reef diving. Have spoken to Amigos, Barefoot, and the Forman's already.

How much diving you planning to do? Which operator?

We like Ambergris Divers. One the first trip Roberto was with Aqua Divers (next to the Sunbreeze) and we did AD. Really enjoyed him as an instructor and dive master. Now he's got his own operation (Ambergris Divers) so we've used them the last 2 times and this'll be the third. Like most operators they will hold/clean your gear for you for the week and pick you up/deliver you to your dock. We've never done Bacalar Chico so we think we'll try that this time. Last time (11/02) we were disappointed in Shark Ray Alley (no sharks and just a couple of rays). May do a night dive this trip too. Last trip we snorkelled under the dock at Ramon's (at night with dive lights) and that was really interesting so I think we'll do that again. Everybody talks about the Sunday BBQ at BC's (next to Sunbreeze) - I guess we'll try that too. Let me know if there are any questions I can answer.

We will definitely be at the Sunday BBQ at BC's. I, too, have heard its a lot of fun! How will we know who is who? My name is Austin from Los Angeles. Should we also exchange emails?

A night dive is acutally on the top of my life. Night time really shows the diversity of marine life on the reef.

Maybe we can meet up at BC's and talk about when you guys are planning to do Balcalar and night dives. Would love to go with you guys.

I just was emailing with Eugenie at Aqua Dives. He quoted me the best deal I have heard yet on the island for a 10 dive package. It consists of 5 2-tank dives INCLUDING reg and bc for 15% off. That's $240 total. Also said that any other dive will be 15% as well.

What do you think about this opp? What was your experience like at Aqua Dives???

We'll be there on those exact dates & were even planning on doing BC's on the 1st. Can't wait! (Stock up Charlene!) We're diving with Barefoot and even doing our advanced dives this go 'round. We will be there from the 2-8th, so we will miss this BC BBQ, what does BC stand for? but we'll go the next Sunday! we are staying at the blue tang inn and diving with hustlers. wheres everyone else staying?
