Just want to make sure that if anyone in the Houston area wants to send relief supplies, we have a truck leaving for Belize tomorrow.
We need the following:
sheets and towels
garbage bags
canned foods
baby foods
diapers
used tools
construction supplies
generators
clothing
shoes
batteries
two way radios
flashlights
etc.
Please call me if you need further information or would like to donate money to the Belize Relief Fund set up at Southwest Bank of Texas.

I'm based in Austin--any way to get relief supplies on board the truck from Houston, or anyone in my area know of a collection/way to donate supplies?

I can't get it on the truck unless someone can drive it down from austin today or tonight. I would drive there to pick it up, but am busy trying to drive around houston and pick up donations here. Please call me if you have anyone who can do this. I will also try to let everyone know if there really is a cargo flight leaving on monday. Please call me if you have any questions.

As for Austin, did you try to contact SW Airlines -- they might be willing to donate some cargo space. I'd be willing to pick up at airport -- either airport though Hobby is better. Depending on the amount of material, I may need to borrow a truck as I have a very small car. Please let me know. Thanks!

Great Idea about Southwest!!!! Anybody who has time please call, the more people we have putting pressure on these folks the better off our friends will be.
