Has anyone on this list taken a private plane from the states down to Ambergris ? Can you share your experience ? Does anyone have an idea of who I might speak with at the airstrip, the next time I am down ?

Check with the Baja Bush Pilots assn. They have a video available "Flying to Belize" I have talked to several folks who have flown down,It sounds like plenty of paperwork, But you can get a "Handler" at BZE who can walk you thru the process.Practice up on short field landings......

You must clear at International and most leave their planes there.If your plane is of a small enough size you can then take it to San Pedro.
