After visiting Belize last summer, my fiance and I really want to have our wedding in Ambergris Caye this summer. I'm having a hard time deciding between Mata Chica and Portofino. Any thoughts? Wedding experiences? Originally we were also considering Victoria House, but their policy of requiring the majority of our wedding guests to also stay at the resort was a problem. If our guests want to stay at the same place that we have the wedding, that's fine, but I wouldn't want to force anyone into that expense. Any experiences with Kay Scott as a photographer? Thanks for the help!

Go to this post...I had the same questions about staying at Portofino or Mata Chica for our honeymoon. I haven't been yet, but I think we are going to stay at the Mata Chica...but everyone says good things about both, so it will probably just boil down to you just deciding for yourself.
