Hi everyone..

First time poster, but I have been reading the reports/stories all of you post daily. My thanks goes out to all of you who have donated a lot of valuable info...

Ok--I will be making my first (of many, Im sure) trip to AC this June for a honeymoon. We'll be staying at Sundiver, up north. What suggestions do you have for staying up north. I am of the feeling that I should have booked a little closer to town, but am not going to change now.....that's what a second trip is for, right?

One concern, I have is pica pica. I have read several articles on the internet about the condition, but am still not satisfied with the info. How long does these baby jellies last (daily? weekly?) until they clear up?

Finally, (and Ill stop here, I promise) are there any tour operators that will take a couple on tours of the remote, smaller cayes? Just an interest of mine.

Thanks in advance

Any of the tour operators will sked any trips you want. we always figure on maybe two trips per week, allowing 4-5 days to take it as it comes. Have you seen great Mayan ruins? Are you a birder? It's okay, we're out of the closet now. As a newlywed, you'll have plenty to do. I was reading a guide book this week and it listed all these things one could do in th e area [happened to be Ixtapa/Zihua]. Then it said, "Planting your ass in the sand is also a good plan." You'll love up north. just start drinking earlier so you're ready to ...sleep after dinner.
