Entered our name at our local annual scuba show and "won" 3 days at Perla Escondida Resort. Spent a week on AC last January and stayed just south of the cut. This place is south of town, I gather. Is anyone familiar with this resort and can offer any comments?

Perla Escondida is just south of Coconuts, by the barge dock. It's relatively new. It has a small court pool and seems to be well kept.
I have been inside one unit (just on a tour and before it was complete and decorated). Seemed spacious, but not necessarily well laid out.
It does not have a bar, restaurant, but there are plenty of choices very close by.
