We decided on the corona del mar. It gave us more spending money to do other things like snorkel an cave tubing. Did we make a bad choice, or will we enjoy it. I know it is too late, but i just want to know what i am in store for. Also, what are some must do things on AC?

Go fishing. Eat at Papi's Diner. Eat at Rico's. Eat at Capricorn's. Take the TropicAir tour to Lamanai. Do BC's barbeque. Walk the beach. Have a drink. Snorkel. Watch the birds. Look at the stars. Make friends. Wonder. Enjoy. Live the dream.

I keep responding to this question the same way. Eat things you've never eaten, wave and smile at the kids, talk to the locals. If a tail wags, pet the dog. If you feel a pull in any direction, follow it. Keep your eyes and ears open, many wondrous little things to be experienced. Make some new friends. Take pictures, they are great comfort when you go into withdrawal. Caliente, Papi's Diner, Estels, El Patio and the Reef. Ride the hand ferry. Belikins taste best after a good snorkel. Be nice to everyone, the rewards cannot be measured.
Been there, done that, the washing machine ate the T-shirt

timalpr, you'll love Corona del Mar. Say hi to Kelly, Frank, Flaco, JR, Chris, and Woody for me. It's like being invited into someone home to stay and they'll take great care of you!

Stayed there 3 weeks ago...pay up for a ocean front view if you can(#206). Woody's punch will knock you out so wait until at least 10am before you start on it. Say high to all and enjoy. Get Frank, Smiley, etc to do a Horseshoe game one night(or every night)...s'all good, s'all good mon(as Frank would say). Let me know how the elevator turned out, they were getting ready to install it when I left. Do as they say above and do a daytrip with Capt. Bicho, especialy with Lobster season going on. Do a day trip to Caye Caulker($17.50us round trip). Visit the Lazy Lizard for a snorkel dip...lizard [#%!] drink will hurt you as well. Also take a golf cart trip for a day($50/24 hours). When you go about a mile passed the cut you will see a sign for the Palapa bar heading to the right....enjoy that place for a while. It is a tiki that is at the end of a pier, really cool. BC's is a must on Sunday...do NOT miss it. Fido's is a blast and damn good ceviche. You will be hanging at Rasta Pastas a lot being next door and they have a pool you can use. Say hi to Kenrick, nice guy. Food there is damn good as well, try the snook if they have it. Also decent ceviche....awesome pina coladas as well(have them pour a shot of dark rum on top). Victoria house for a sunset drink or dinner is very romantic if you are interested...good ceviche as well. George's kitchen across the street has the best breakfast along with Rasta's. Peperonis is open late for pizza munchies...hit that place about every night. Make sure you lock the golf cart...it will get stolen for a few hours if ya don't.

One more thing to do, take a one time use camera and go parasailing with Tony from Fido's Dock. The view is spectacular and you can get some great photos. You can go up single or tandum. It is soooo smooth and easy, just unbelielable. I agree with all of the other suggestions but add Carunba's to the places to eat. It is on Middle street and the Belizean Chicken is really good. Make sure you have a few drinks at Crazy Cunucks right next door to Corona Del Mar. It is a fun bar and good drinks. Kat
