What's Ruby's like? Banana Beach is our first choice and we've talked to them for the first few days, but are hesitant to commit for the whole 15 days. So far we haven't formally reserved anything yet for the rest of our time and now I'm getting a little nervous.

They are a good "no Frills" hotel. Some rooms have AC and some have fans. I think rooms that share bathroom start at $15 - $20. While rooms with AC go for $45 - $55. But even their walk-in rates are cheaper. I wouldn't worry too much. There are plenty of rooms to be had at all price ranges.
