we read this board over and over for two months, went in Sept. with two back packs and two carry on bags(1 bag 1/2 emtpy). This drew great gasps from relatives and people on the trip with us.
After years of over packing we were elated with the advise of "shorts, tshirts, swimsuits and nothing formal".
Some of our group had mutiple checked bags etc. Guess what they wore, "shorts, tshirts, swimsuits and nothing formal.

If they tell you it won't work over satellite, they didn't try hard enough!

I just got back from a 7 night stay at Paradise. Great staff and a wonderful condo. I will stay there next time because of this and the location. It is one block away from two supermarkets and a few steps from the dive shop and pier. Although no restaurant on the property, Wet Willys Restaurant and Cantina is on the pier a few steps away (they serve good breakfast, lunch and dinner). The kitchen was well equiped with utensils, etc. Consider bringing small quantities of mayo, mustard, olive oil, salt/pepper, salami and cheese as restaurants (especially for dinner) are pricey and you will save money by eating occasionally at the condo. Hope this helps you out. smile

Paradise Villas also features a security watchman from 5PM till 7AM. His name is Pierre and he is a very personable guy from Haiti.
