Any word on getting in touch with the wonderful people of Mata Chica? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I spent the 3 days of Hurricane Keith a few hundred yards away from the Mata Chica. Checked on the place regularly and it has been damaged quite badly. Our group saved the Mata Chica parrot and broght it to the sundiver resort just south. You might try to contact Bronwen at Capricorn on Ambergris Caye. She was the caretaker for The Mata Chica during the storm. Good Luck.

Thanks for the info. Tom!! Glad the parrot is okay. :-) We're scheduled to come down November 2-9, with no intentions of cancelling!! Tried E-mailing Bronwen at Mata Chica, but no response yet. Just happy to hear everyone is well from up North and we'll anxiously await their contacting us and telling us to still come down!
