EG, salad, with a small lobster tail, grilled snapper and grilled conch. I can get rice and beans anywhere, so I have fries when I am there. If you want good food, Papi's is the place. It's a walk, but the food is worth it.
Been there, done that, the washing machine ate the T-shirt

We stayed at the Palms in May in a 1-BR and loved it. This time, my sis and brother-in-law are coming with us and we booked the "Executive." I was just hoping that it'll be big enough (and private enough!).

Hi Suzanne... I highly recommend The Palms, as well. We stayed in the unit in Bobber's pics in August and it is very nice. We have also stayed in the end units on the third floor and I think those are a little nicer...more room and bigger kitchens. It is an excellent property that is very convenient and quiet, even tho it's close to town. Ana and her staff will work to make everything perfect for you! Scott ps... Bobber, I love Bonaire! Wish I was there or on AC instead of COLD Oklahoma today! Have a great time!

Tradewinds... Several of the 2 bdrm units at The Palms have the master bdrm and bath downstairs and the second bdrm and bath upstairs so there is great privacy. The hard part is deciding who gets which room! (The upstairs bdrm has 2 twin beds instead of the king downstairs). The unit on the south end has the 2 bedromms close to each other but has a GREAT kitchen and breakfast bar and is very roomy. Scott

I did all the work, so I know who's getting the master bedroom (even if she is older!)

20's and icy here in St. Louis too. We missed Papi's last time too, but will definitely make it there this time.

I was quoted the "exec" rate so I assume we would have good accomodations regardless, but Melinda has offered the first or second floor...HELP...which should I choose, curtain #1 or curtian #2??? PS Where the devil is Papi's?

We stayed at the Palms for two weeks last August. We had condo #15 (I think?) on the first floor (one bed room) The Palms is fabulous. I really loved being able to walk out my door to the beach. You can sit on the big porch or out on the walled courtyard in the lounge chairs. Our friends had the one bedroon right above us on the second floor. They loved their rooms. The view is incredible from the upper floors. I think what floor you decide on just depends on your preference. You'll love staying there no matter what. Melinda and Ana are so nice and helpful, as well as the rest of the staff. I am going through withdrawals right now and am itching to book another stay. Enjoy! mobunny
