Christine, I wonder if we can get anybody to want to come to our properties in NJ to help us shovel. I have also been shoveling while dreaming of swimming in the sea in two months. When is your trip?
I have shown my girlfriends my new beautiful sandals that I can't wait to wear in San Pedro. Today, I have just worn my ugly boots with the big rubber soles so I don't slip on my driveway and end up breaking a leg (which I have done in my past) so I can still go swimming in the sea in two months!

HI Island Mom! I'd be happy right now if I could just get my two sons to help me shovel!grrrr...
If they don't shape up a bit more, Mom may just lose that ticket home from Belize! haha

Anyway, I am going on Feb 21st for 10 days with my bestest girlfriend from Seattle. And like you, I am so excited about it!

Do you think anyone down in 80Degrees Belizean weather is day dreaming about shoveling snow in a blizzard in NJ??? I think not!

Dear Christine,
I took my first trip with a girlfriend last summer to St.Thomas. We had a great time. I hope you have at least half the fun with your girlfriend. I never drank so many rum punches in my life. Anyway, what I want to know is how are you managing to get away for 10 days with two boys at home? I had a 10 year old at home at the time so I could only manage a few nights away from home.
Possibly the children of Belize would help us shovel if we gave them an opportunity to build a snowman with us. Do you think they dream about it? I wonder if I can get my son to help me shovel right now, if I told him I will lose his ticket to Belize if he doesn't get outside and help me now!

YO, It is 60 right now in Denver, but I am still salivating for the sun, the shores the food and the people at San Pedro,, can't wait til my arrival on the first...It isnt just about the weather...it's the lifestyle...that's what I yearn for... john in denver...haven't stayed at ramon's but am looking forward to banana beach this time!!!

Xanadu is fantastic, big rooms with kitchens and everything you need. Great staff. Good beach, clean. Reccomended by The San Pedro Social Club.

I am tying to decide xanadu or belizian shores

hello i am trying to decide on a hotel i like the looks of xanadu and belizian shores. any advice ?

I haven't stayed at either, but have wandered by both. Belizean Shores has a beautiful pool, really looks to be a great place to hang out.

I greatly prefer being closer to town, able to walk if I want or take a short cab ride, so I'd go with Xanadu. Lots of people stay up north and don't seem to mind taking water taxis and such back and forth to town, but I'd rather be closer.

Both are great properties, just depends what part of the island you want to be on.
