Okay, so the weather report says there are showers the day we get there (March 1) and the next day when we go fishing. Does that mean it rains all day, or just off and on? I should have known it would rain wherever I went! If I'm wet from raining will I be cold? I know that sounds dumb, but I'm just wondering how warm to dress. The idea I've gotten from the board is that you're warm even in the rain and it doesn't really rain all day long.

Unless you are standing in San Pedro there is no way to tell what the weather is or will be. The forecast from Belize City has NO correlation to the weather on AC. None, period, nada. Just go and enjoy it and ignore the forecasts. You'll see next week.

I was in San Pedro last week. I chill easily and the only time I wore a sweat shirt was sitting on the Paradise Villas' dock at night (listening to Jerry Jeff Walker sing at Wet Willy's.) One day was cloudy and there was a shower that morning. I was in town and never got cool. The morning that we left started out cloudy and then there was a downpour. The sun came out and except for a puddle here and there, you would never have known that it had rained. I have only been to AC a couple of times, both in February, and we never had a bad day! One of our fishing guides even told us that the weather forecasts on TV there are a day behind! You will have a beautiful time. I went out to watch the sunrise in shorts and a long sleeve t-shirt. After it was up, the long sleeves were too warm. It is truly summer in San Pedro Town!!!

Cold in MT - we met a great couple from Montana when we were in the Bahama's a couple of years ago. We just called him "Montana", your name reminded me of them - would be really funny if it was you. Wisconsin.

P&R,
Was "Montana" in the ranch real estate business? The Bahama's thing sounds familiar for friends of ours.

Not sure, but he and his wife were a bit older than us, probably early 50's. He had a head full of grey hair, and let's say a belly that was bought and paid for! Really nice people. We were in Freeport at an all inclusive (can't remeber the name)that was right on the beach out of town, nice place. It is funny because I am better at remembering where people are from than their names and other stuff.

We were in the Bahamas in 01, but we're not in our 50's yet. No gray hair and not a bad belly! Sounds like us Montanans are always looking for someplace warm!

Hey 1BKeeper, Was Jerry Jeff really playing at Wet Willy's? I leave 2/27 and would not want to miss a chance to see him live. Not that its a deal-breaker with 8 days in SP ahead of us, but it sure would be a thrill for me. Cheers, BREW Kettle
