IMHO..Maybe the decline in family values comes from both parents now working down in SP trying to make ends meet (in the US its the keeping up with the Jone's Syndrome and the kids are spoiled out of guilt) and no one is home to watch the kids and keep track of who,what and where.

I remember reading here on the board awhile back that families USED to meet at home for the family meal but most don't now and this in part was why the School Lunch program fundraising was started.

Kids learn by example give them a positive role model that mentor's them and lets them know they can be ANYTHING they want to be and then help them at least get thru high school.Capt. Jeff is a fine example of that from what I read,when I see he pays for the local boys to go out on the boat for a day of fishing with him and I am sure there are many behind the scene things he has done for San Pedrano's.

Be a positive example and keep the kids busy.Idle minds will not stay idle for long they will just go in the wrong direction..
