Picture This:

50 to 100 cars trucks and buses come to San Pedro Full of tourists from Mexico. Where do they park, turn around, get gas, services. why are Mexicans allowed to have Cars and Trucks on ambergris Caye?

Of course the island ends at the south so mot much of a problem for the south. I road runs through it. Built it and they will come.

Who is this road for? What good will it do?

The town can't maintain the roads they have now with golf carts traveling on them imagine what happens when a fleet of SUV's comes to town.

Of all the dumb ass things someone has wanted to do hear this is at the top of the stupid list. Maybe they can build a bridge so that they can drive directly to the islands of San Pedro and jump on their 150 foot yacht or play a couple of rounds of golf at the Ritz complex.
