Street Vendor in San Pedro Town, Ambergris Caye, Belize - December 2010

Seashell - This image is almost straight out of the camera with a slight bit of cropping. My image sensor is quite sensitive to red. The colours and contrast are well displayed due to the natural and even lighting in the shade. I discovered this scene one afternoon and came back the next day to get the right lighting to make it work. Two critical elements are always the quality of the light and the actual composition of the image elements. The key element of the composition which drew my eye was how the vendor is a small but critical part of the image detail.
