Saturation is a measure of how intense a colour is. Luminescnce is a measure of how bright the colour is.

I process my images in Adobe Lightroom and generally follow a basic stream unless an image speaks to me. The final product is a result of my mood (and what I'm drinking), time of day (late nights create more moody compositions) and the original composition. Sometimes I will select only one colour in an image to modify to fit my 'vision'.
