This is the first time I have posted here but I have been following the posts for years.

It would be nice to hear both sides of this story. I have often seen posts on here which immediately lay blame on either the police or military/coast guard. I have only had one experience with a reporter from The San Pedro Sun and that was positive so I trust his accounts of the interaction. I have had limited interaction with police in Belize and those interactions were also positive. I would like to believe that there was something that triggered this reaction by the Coast Guard members in this incident. I ask that the the members of this board allow an investigation to be conducted before blame is laid.
