bet you're sorry you asked now! I hope some of this madness has helped. I know what it's like to have a "hyperventilator" in the fam - it's not easy, but hey, enjoy your vacation, and hopefully she will, too. Nothing more to add than before, but I've been twice - to the jungle and to AC, and never had a problem with mosquitos, botflys, malaria, drinking water, crime or any of the other "scares" you hear about.
