On Continental I found $462 RT from Sacramento to Goldson International. Most dates other than Holidays....Leaving Fridays returning Saturdays.....All of September, October, portions of November nearly all of first quarter 2011.....Good Luck! My experience is these rates only stay up a few days....I check them often...

I guess what is confusing me is that it appears as though you guys are not including taxes in your numbers. I checked and Sacramento is 462 pre tax and 568 with tax. I have been watching these fares for the last couple of months and I dont see any change

Sorry for the confusion....Each year I make the trip to San Pedro about 6 times sometimes more....A few years ago the average price from Sacramento, California to Goldson International was $348 pre-tax...Over the last 5 years it has been closer to $710 pre-tax. My last ticket was $648 pre-tax....Therefore $462 pre-tax is awesome for me....

Hope that helps...Another thing to keep in mind is that the Continental ticket includes the 'exit' tax while some other airlines do not.....Good Luck....At www.continental.com

I used to fly TACA all the time out of Houston, until they changed it from non-stop. They turned a two-hour flight into a five hour trip with a stop first in San Salvador, and it departs Houston at 5:30 a.m. and returns at 11:30 p.m. (apprx.) Stinks. I don't see how they still have any customers out of Houston. And they used to give Continental competition from Houston, but not any more. In 07 - 09, I would frequently find specials for about $275, taxes included on TACA. Now it is $500 to $600 all in. on Continental, even though it is a two-hour non-stop flight. Flights from Phoenix, DC, Atlanta, and other places are cheaper than flights from Houston, even though they have an extra leg coming and going! (competition...)

I depart from Sac as well and just checked some sample fares, from a Friday to Saturday in September, October. Most of them say it takes me 22 hours to get home, have to fly from BZE to Denver or SFO, then to SAC. Time is money for me and the juice ain't worth the squeeze, at least from what I am seeing.
