Baby Daniel has taken a turn for the worse, things are getting desperate. The Hospital in LA has told ilda that they will do the procedure if she can raise $150,000us. This is a huge amount of money for the family to raise, almost impossible, but with all the friends and supporters of baby Daniel on this message board and the "save daniel" facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?ref=profile&id=100000430657456#!/group.php?gid=133496926682471. we are hoping that it can be raised. There is going to be a bar-b-que sale here is San pedro this Sunday at central park. All donations big and small will go directly to save Daniel.
If you outlaw guns, only outlaws will have guns.

Can somebody tell us how much has been raised to date? How much MORE needs to be raised?

It's a start and funds are coming in a bit faster, but up to this morning the total raised so far is just over $3000us. A fund raising event is being held in LA today and I know they are planning more.

 Baby Daniel is doing so much better after his transplant in Colombia, SA. These pictures show him smiling, a huge difference from when he was in the US awaiting his transplant.

Baby Daniel Estel Sends Smiles to San Pedro
A very happy grandmother, Mel Spain sent over these pictures to Ambergris Today this morning as Baby Daniel is doing so much better after his transplant in Colombia, SA. Here he is smiling at the camera and showing signs of much improvement and well being. We wish Baby Daniel a speedy recovery.
Mel Spain - "He has an infection but he is getting over it. He is still in the ICU but that's the best place for him now. We had gotten a new bill for $60,000 but thank GOD for a foundation in New York that gave us $25,000. We need to come up with the balance. If anyone wants to help, they still can. We have gotten a lot of help from the people of San Pedro and I would really like to take this opportunity to say Many Thanks to everyone who has helped in any way."

Thanks Marty for that update , but do you have any new info as to how Baby Daniel is doing? I'm having a hard time finding an update. My husband and I have donated and now my parents want to help.....Any info you can give on that cutie-pie would be greatly appreciated!
