I was there around May 17th last year and the prices of lodging dropped like 30-40% beginning that week. The "lowseason" starts around that time so you might want to make sure you aren't paying high season rates if you can hold off for another week or so. If you're looking at June, then I think everyplace is offering their low season rates. Also, the weather was absolutely perfect while we were there, but the day we left it started to deluge. People mentioned that they filled 20,000 gallon cisterns overnight. I think they got 13 inches of rain that night (?!?!) Hopefully you wont get hit by a storm like that.
