Any suggestions on where to stay (Hotel or condo)and location AC,Belize San Pedro etc. Looking for middle range prices. Plan to be there May-June, how's the weather that time of year? Out...

I highly recommend Mata Rocks -----South of
San Pedro But not to far----- The staff there is GREAT & the beach bar is among the BEST----No pool ,but you can use the one next door.....John

The Blue Tang is great. Efficiencies with great views, pool, close to town and friendly service. Check them out~

Belizean Shores (Condo's) 4 miles north of town
Coral Bay (condo's) 1 1/2 miles south of town

The weather is pretty good then. You may want to check out the Caribe Island Resort. It is 3 miles south of town, has a beautiful beach area, on site restaurant, bar and dive shop (Blue Hole).

I was there around May 17th last year and the prices of lodging dropped like 30-40% beginning that week. The "lowseason" starts around that time so you might want to make sure you aren't paying high season rates if you can hold off for another week or so. If you're looking at June, then I think everyplace is offering their low season rates. Also, the weather was absolutely perfect while we were there, but the day we left it started to deluge. People mentioned that they filled 20,000 gallon cisterns overnight. I think they got 13 inches of rain that night (?!?!) Hopefully you wont get hit by a storm like that.
