I don't know about the freshwater rinse, I rinse off the minute I get out of the water from windsurfing and still get hit by it, got a couple yesterday and last year got hit in the eye with some and my head never went underwater (just got spray off the board).
Hey, while you are checking out the Safe Sea, check out their suits as well. They are NOT see-thru. They dry in nothing flat, on or off, and are really comfy. First time posting, but really looking forward to living the dream in June!
Yes, Simon, that's what I was trying to emphasize and what the website says. It says that the freshwater rinse may cause the nemos to fire. It says you are better to do a seawater rinse with seawater that does not contain the larvae.
Easier said than done, no doubt.
A fish and a bird can fall in love, but where will they build their nest?
my mom always used to chase us around when we were kids and one of us got stung by a wasp or bee...usually with a hunk of horse manure and the advise that if one of us could pee in a cup and pour it over that would be the best cure...of course that went over well! yuck, mom! probably would work great on jellyfish larvae stings...i know it works for sea urchin spines.
