Coolbum, I am an accomplished cook and know what taste differences are. I've tried the beef at several San Pedro restaurants and never had any that I liked, so I doubt the problem is with the handling and prep.
I don't know why you would be so sensitive about the fact that Belizean beef tastes different and Americans in general don't care for the taste. I agree, I'm not looking for what I can get at home when I go on vacation, I don't come to Belize for the beef - I stick to the seafood, which beats anything I can get at home in terms of quality for price, and I live near the ocean.
