Sun&Sand, my childhood wasn't terrible, and I too have some wonderful childhood memories. But we were poor and lived among those who were even less fortunate, lots of times because of race, and I witnessed a lot that I knew was wrong, even as a child. I do believe that good can triumph over evil and I'm sure you do your part in that effort as well. All I meant was that I think it's dangerous to fail to remember the bad. It's that Edmund Burke thing: "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing."
Perhaps we'll be agreeing to disagree on this one. smile
