The clock is a good idea but not in this spot and not with the jumbotron (is that the right name?) signs. I think if it would be moved a little into the park with a nice bronze plaque (I don't care how big) honouring the donors it would be magnificent! In order to slow down traffic there are more possibilities, for instance elevating the whole intersection. The flashy signs harm the reputation as a picturesque friendly island community. In fact the one at Tropic Air possibly does more harm than good to Ramone's although when seeing the "Obey your Husband" sign I can't help but snigger.
