More than a houseful NY. Son & two friends have been here for 2 weeks from college. Lots of beer cans and kids around this place. So that brings the count to, lets see....11 people here. Thank goodness after he's gone there will only be the usual 7 girls to 1 guy ratio. Poor Jim. My friend Curvin is now in the states and will be out to see us within a few weeks or so. I can't wait to have my rasta here and that will be another one for the "Y" chromosome team at the Jones house.

Haley is having a very uneventful summer. No therapy, no swimming lessons,no summer school, only massage. She's doing wonderfully. Thanks for asking, ya'll.

Gracie had an appointment with the cardiologist yesterday. I was out of town and couldn't make it back in time so for the first time she went in and advocated for herself. When the echo tech asked her why she was there, Gracie spewed out medical terminology used only by physicians about her particular genetic disorder and how it could affect her heart. YES! I did my job!!! Not too shabby for a 16 year old, eh?

The Belizean girls are doing wonderful. They have lots of friends and a healthy social life. Culturally, they're getting into the swing of things. I dropped the youngest, Shanice off to a slumber party the other day. When I walked her to the door, she introduced me as her white mama. smile We're just one big mostly-happy inter-racial family! There are days tho....

Chloe, I continue to think of Rod daily and pray for his recovery. I hope you are doing well. It is so nice to see you here.

Law, thanks for your thoughts and good wishes. SS, Denny, Dobie, Ernie, Bill, KLC, Gela.... You guys are the best!

Love, (ah....so warm and fuzzy)
