Trip was great after we got to Costa Rica, eastcoast at Limon, central- San Jose, southwest coast with black sand.

Arrived a day late, on Taca, unscheduled overnight in San Salvador (during the unrest period), bomb scare on plane at Managua (trust me whatever language, one does understand bomb, 5 hrs of plane searching), finally arrived in San Jose, but missed connections.

Wonderful trip.
