Weather Conditions: Clear skies, light winds, and light chop.

Winds: Winds were consistently 5-15 mph out of the West/Northwest.

Air Temperature: Hi 80s to Low 70s.

WHAT GUESTS WERE CATCHING:

BONEFISH (Macabi): 120 for the week.

PERMIT (Palometta): Seven Permit landed.

TARPON (Sabalo): Ten Tarpon landed.

GRAND SLAMS: Congratulations to Jeremy H. and Capt Dayan on their two Grand Slams in one day!

FLIES THAT WORKED

FOR BONEFISH - Christmas Island Specials in gold, pearl and pink sizes 6, and Crazy Charlies in pink.

FOR PERMIT - Mantis shrimp sizes 4. Rag Head crabs, Strong arm crabs, Bauer crabs and Flexo crabs in 4 and 6.

FOR TARPON - 2/0 and 3/0 White Bunnies, Chartreuse and Black-purple toads, Puglisi peanut butter, Puglisi tarpon streamer purple/black.

Week in Review:

Anglers enjoyed calm days, clear skies, and light winds during the past week. We had a terrific Orvis women's group at the lodge for several days; they landed dozens of Bonefish, a few Permit, and some nice Tarpon.
